F Ball F45 Styccobond Vinyl Flooring Adhesive – 15ltr
STYCCOBOND F45 is a non-staining co-polymer emulsion adhesive having particularly good resistance to PVC plasticisers that will also withstand normal wet cleaning techniques. It is protected against bio-degradation and is suitable for use over normal underfloor heating installations.
STYCCOBOND F45 can be used for securing a wide range of highly plasticised vinyl floor and wallcoverings and PVC-backed carpets. It can also be used in conjunction with STYCCOBOND F2 Release Adhesive to provide a RELEASE BOND system.
STYCCOBOND F45 can also be applied to STOPGAP smoothing underlayments, structurally sound, smooth, dry subfloors of concrete and sand/cement screed and flooring grade plywood.
STOPGAP Waterproof Surface Membranes, sound flooring grade asphalt and other non-absorbent surfaces must be skimmed with a minimum of 3mm of the appropriate STOPGAP smoothing underlayment.

- Coverage (approx.): 3m² per litre with a 2mm x 6mm trowel or 5m² per litre with a 1.5mm x 5mm trowel:
- 15 litres Tub = 45m² with a 2mm x 6mm trowel
- 15 litres Tub = 75m² with a 1.5mm x 5mm trowel
- Note: Coverage rates will depend on the condition and absorbency of the subfloor
Application:
Holding the trowel at an angle of 60°, spread the adhesive evenly over an area of the subfloor that can be covered whilst the adhesive remains receptive and gives good transfer.
Allow the adhesive to dry to a paste-like consistency then place the floor or wallcovering whilst the adhesive will transfer and the trowel marks flatten when rolled. Roll floorcoverings from end-to-end and side-to-side using a 68kg roller. 1 to 4 hours later, roll again in two directions. Press wallcoverings firmly over the whole surface and then smooth outwards from the centre using a spatula or brush, ensuring that all the air is removed and good, overall contact is achieved.

Precautions:
Curled floor coverings may need weighting to maintain contact with the adhesive until it has dried.
Do not weld vinyl until the adhesive has had sufficient time to develop a good bond, normally 24 hours. Do not apply loads or move furniture on the floorcovering until the adhesive has fully set
Tools:
- STYCCOBOND 2mm x 6mm ‘V’ notched trowel when securing floor coverings.
- STYCCOBOND 1.5mm x 5mm ‘V’ notched trowel when securing wall coverings.
Tools should be cleaned with warm soapy water while the adhesive is still wet.
Storage:
Store between 5ºC and 30°C. Protect from frost.
Shelf Life:
12 months in unopened containers stored under good conditions.
