F Ball F30 Styccobond Carpet Seaming Adhesive – 500ml (Can Only)

Product Specifications & Key Features:
- Appearance: Viscous Liquid
- Colour: Pale Straw
- Coverage Rates (approx.): 100 linear metres per litre
- Open Time: Up to 15 minutes
Compression Joint: Overlap two adjacent pre-trimmed lengths of the carpet by approximately 3mm. Fold back both edges by half the width of the carpet then apply the recommended adhesive.
Lay one section of carpet applying pressure to ensure overall contact with the adhesive then apply a continuous bead of STYCCOBOND F30 to the primary backing along the length of the seam edge. Immediately re-lay the adjacent section of the carpet.
Starting at the centre gently feed the edge into the seaming adhesive taking care to ensure the sealer does not squeeze up onto the carpet fibres. Any fullness of the carpet should be dissipated away from the seam by applying pressure with the STYCCOBOND GLYDA.
Butt Joint: Form a butt joint with the secondary backed carpet then carefully fold back both edges half the width of the carpet and apply the recommended adhesive. Lay one section of carpet applying pressure to ensure overall contact with the adhesive then apply a bead of STYCCOBOND F30 to the backing along the length of the seam.
Immediately re-lay the adjacent section of carpet carefully feeding the edge into the seaming adhesive taking care to ensure the sealer does not squeeze up onto the carpet fibres.
