Karndean Universal Adhesive
Karndean Universal Adhesive is suitable for most applications, such as heavy wear in domestic and commercial locations and for use with underfloor heating systems.
Karndean Universal Adhesive is a resin-free, wet-bed high-temperature dispersion adhesive, designed specifically for Luxury Vinyl Tile floor coverings. It’s perfect for bonding Design flooring products on most absorbent surfaces, as long as it’s level, absorbent and sound.
It is solvent free, odourless, easy to apply, has good open time and “grab”, and reduces residual indentation for all-around better results.

- 5ltr Karndean Universal Adhesive tub covers Approx – 23m²
- 15ltr Karndean Universal Adhesive tub covers Approx – 69m²
Special note about Extreme Heat Areas:
If the area concerned may be subject to extremely excessive direct heat (50˚C or more), such as shop windows or a fully glazed south-facing conservatory, then the floor must be installed with Epoxy Adhesive. It is vitally important to keep the temperature in these rooms at a constant 18˚C – 26˚C before, during and for 24hrs following installation.
It would also be prudent to shade all windows to ensure that constant temperature conditions are maintained for 48 hours after installation. For any areas under question please consult the Karndean Technical team.
